At Backstop, we believe we should play at least as hard as we work, and we take our work seriously! When Backstoppers were asked to define our culture, they used words like creative, casual, innovative and relaxed. We're accustomed to providing daily challenges for an intelligent group of people, while ensuring we have a relaxed atmosphere to work in. No two days are ever the same at Backstop.

Events and Outings

One of the main reasons Backstop continues to provide the leading software for alternative asset managers is the incredible quality of its employees. We know the key to our success is teamwork. As an appreciation to our employees, we hold quarterly company outings filled with games, fun and food. Whether we go on a scavenger hunt through downtown Chicago or spend the afternoon playing Whirlyball, we like to make sure our team has fun, in and outside of work.

Daily Fun

We have an open, collaborative work space so you can choose how you work. Need to collaborate with a teammate?  You can grab a seat on the couches and work away.  Need some quiet time to crank out some work?  Grab a small conference space.  Need a break from working at the computer all day?  Meet up with your colleagues in the kitchen for lunch and board games, or check out the meditation room for a quiet moment.  Plus, we also have a game room when the competitive urge strikes.  We expect a lot from Backstoppers and in return, we want to create a place where people can work hard and play hard.
